This course is aimed at garage technicians involved in the test and repair of vehicle braking systems, this course will be of great benefit to those technicians who require training on Braking, ABS & ESP systems.  The subjects covered are brake actuation and hydraulics Bosch 2S, 2E, 5 and ABS 8 design systems. The knowledge and skills can be applied to similar systems of non Bosch origin.  The operation, maintenance and testing of the system is covered enabling the workshop staff to apply approved methods of safety when carrying out service and diagnostic procedures. It will also provide the foundation knowledge and skills required for attendance on advanced chassis control systems training.

Course Objectives: The aim of this 2 day course is to provide delegates with the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required for air conditioning refrigerant service on passenger cars. This course will also cover refrigerant handling procedures and safe working practise with vehicle air conditioning systems in accordance to the standard specified by current legislative conditions.

For Whom: Technicians who have not previously attended relevant refrigerant handling training and who are working towards certification by assessment. Note that the new EU certification is a legal requirement for each individual technician, i.e. even only connecting a refrigerant station to a vehicle will require the technician to have achieved certification.
