SIMI President Gerard O'Farrell welcomes over 700 senior Motor Industry figures and guests in attendance at the 2019 Annual Dinner incorporating the SIMI/Bank of Ireland Irish Motor Industry Awards which were held on Thursday, 21st February at the Clayton Hotel- Burlington Road, Dublin. 

Special Recognition of Service

Alan Nolan outgoing Director General SIMI was recognised for his 40 years of service to the Society with a special service award.

FRANCHISED SALES OPERATION OF THE YEAR

This is awarded to the best franchised car retailer, one that is able to show evidence of a high quality sales function, exemplary customer service and an innovative approach to business.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE OPERATION OF THE YEAR

This award goes to the best business operating exclusively within the commercial vehicle arena, one that is able to show evidence of a high quality operation, exemplary customer service and an innovative approach to business.

BODYSHOP OF THE YEAR

Pratt's Auto Bodyshop, Carlow

The Bodyshop of the Year award is open to all body repair businesses, including bodyshop departments of independent or franchised workshops The award recognises a repairer’s commitment to exceptional quality of work and business performance.

               INNOVATION IN BODYSHOP OPERATION

The Innovation in Bodyshop Operation is a new award this year open to all body repair businesses who display new innovative practices in their business.

INNOVATION IN FLEET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

This is the introduction of a new award will go to the best innovation practices in this area.

VEHICLE RECOVERY OPERATOR OF THE YEAR

 Dysart Breakdown Recovery Repairs Ltd t/a Dysart Motors Co. Laois

MOTOR FACTOR OF THE YEAR

SIMI/RSA OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Gardai Press Office contribution towards Road Safety
